Betsy Tinervin is a highly trained professional in various aspects of the real estate field, including property management, real estate development, financial and asset management, general contracting, and interior design. She has years of operational management experience. Raised by parents who were real estate agents and investors, Betsy grew up immersed in the industry. Her father founded First Site, LTD, a property management company, and First Site Development, LTD, a property development and construction company in Illinois.

A graduate of Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science, Betsy initially worked as a probation officer with troubled youth. She later joined First Site, LTD, where she managed 1,500 apartment units, retail, and office spaces. Starting as a receptionist, she advanced to Operations Manager, overseeing seven managers across three cities and supervising a staff of 65. Her tenure included involvement in three major real estate developments, including a senior living facility and two student housing complexes, each with over 50 units and budgets exceeding $14 million.

Betsy's role in these development projects equipped her with extensive construction and design knowledge and honed her ability to create and interpret contracts. Her journey from answering phones to mastering every aspect of property management, from collections to maintenance, provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the industry. Building relationships with clients, customers, and the community came naturally to her, as did managing her clients' investments to ensure profitability.

Inspired by her father's entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on training, Betsy became a skilled troubleshooter and innovative thinker. Prior to joining eXp Commercial, Britney was the Vice President of Retail Development of BTI Partners where she oversaw all retail development for the company in the Westshore Marina District in Tampa, Florida.
