November 2026 Events in Southwest Florida

Cape Coral Veterans Day Parade
A free, hometown parade honoring local veterans rolls west along the south side of Cape Coral Parkway, from Cape Coral Street to Chester Street. It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning with family and neighbors and say thank you to those who served.
Arrive early for a good spot along the route, and plan to grab lunch at one of the Parkway restaurants afterward.

The largest display of boats and boating products on Florida's Gulf Coast returns to the downtown Fort Myers waterfront, with more than 500 boats from over 130 manufacturers on land, indoors, and in the water. Exhibits wind along the Caloosahatchee River, through Centennial Park and the Caloosa Sound Convention Center, where hundreds of accessory exhibits cover everything from engines and electronics to fishing gear.
Hours are 10 AM–6 PM Thursday through Saturday and 10 AM–5 PM Sunday. Admission is $20 for adults, and children 15 and under are free with a paid adult. Tickets are sold at the show entrances, and free parking with shuttle service is available at City of Palms Park.

Now in its 36th year, this one-of-a-kind championship brings 29 sculptors from five countries to Fort Myers Beach to turn mountains of sand into jaw-dropping works of art. This year's theme, "Stars, Stripes & Sand: Sculpting the American Story," celebrates America's 250th birthday, and the event also features vendors, live music, and family activities.
Entry on opening day, Thursday, November 19, is free. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the gate for the remaining days, and children three and under are always free. The event is held on the beach behind DiamondHead Beach Resort at 2000 Estero Blvd.

Cape Coral's Thanksgiving-weekend kickoff to the holiday season brings the city hall lawn to life with a tree and menorah lighting, skating, a trackless train, food trucks, and visits with Santa. A holiday movie plays each night, and Saturday adds a drone show.
